Mitsuda's Melody
On Twitter, a user named @SoundCirclet pointed out a motif the user dubs as "The Mitsuda Lick", and put out several examples of its use in video game music.
For the last few months I have been OBSESSED with this phrase I call the 'mitsuda lick'. It's a specific melodic phrase that you can hear all over VGM, BUT is notably known for being the main melody of Secret of the Forest.
